A church where faith
meets family
Gosen Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Haitian congregation in the Jacksonville area — worshiping in English, French, and Kreyòl, and welcoming every generation to know Christ and make Him known.

Rooted in truth, growing in grace
Gosen began as a small group of Haitian believers with a passion for worship, evangelism, and community. Over the years, God has grown our church into a thriving spiritual home for people of all backgrounds — supporting local families, raising strong youth, and preparing hearts for Christ’s soon return.
Church isn’t just something you attend. It’s a family you belong to.
Our Core Values
Six commitments that shape everything we do — from the pulpit to the parking lot.
Christ-Centered Living
We strive to reflect the character of Jesus in every part of our lives — worship, service, and daily decisions rooted in His love.
Bible-Based Faith
God’s Word is our foundation — the ultimate authority and guide for truth, doctrine, and righteous living.
Sabbath Rest & Worship
We honor the seventh-day Sabbath as sacred time for worship, rest, and renewal — celebrating our Creator together.
Youth Empowerment
We invest in our young people, equipping them to grow in faith, discover their purpose, and lead boldly for Christ.
Community Outreach
Our mission goes beyond the church walls — acts of compassion and service that share God’s love in practical ways.
Wholeness & Wellness
We care for the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — honoring the body as God’s temple and seeking abundant life in Him.

What to Expect
Everything you need to know before your first Sabbath with us — we want you to feel right at home.
What time should I arrive?+
Sabbath School begins at 9:30 AM and Divine Worship at 11:00 AM. Arriving 10–15 minutes early gives you time to park, meet a greeter, and find a seat.
What language are the services in?+
We are a proudly Haitian congregation — worship blends English, French, and Kreyòl. Whatever language your heart prays in, you will feel at home.
How should I dress?+
Most members dress in their Sabbath best, but come as you are. We care far more about your presence than your wardrobe.
Do I need to bring money for offerings?+
Giving is completely voluntary. If you’d like to support the ministry you can give during service or online — but your presence is the greatest gift.
Is there something for my children?+
Yes! Children’s Sabbath School classes, Adventurers, and Pathfinders give kids of every age a joyful, Christ-centered place to grow.
What’s the atmosphere like?+
Warm, musical, and family-first. Expect heartfelt singing, sincere prayer, Bible-centered preaching — and a lunch invitation before you leave.
Make Gosen your home this Sabbath
Whether you’re searching for deeper faith, a spiritual family, or a place to serve — there’s a seat saved for you.
